In 1999, we began publishing food & lifestyle magazines to promote family-owned businesses. We are independent former chefs, caterers, Certified Dietary Managers (CDM), Certified Food Protection Professionals (CFPP), former contract food service managers, and former farm winery outlet and gourmet shop owners — who are passionate about gastronomy — the art and science of good eating and nutrition… We are members of Slow Food USA Northeast and Slow Food International — as well as the American Legion Post #13 Vermont and VFW Post #1895 in Rotterdam, NY.

Slow Food International was founded in 1986, in Rome, Italy as Arcigola… In 1989, the founding manifesto of the international Slow Food movement was signed in Paris, France, by delegates from ITALY, and 14 other countries from around the world…

After 35 years, the SLOW FOOD MOVEMENT now boasts millions of members from more than 1,500 local chapters in more than 150 countries—focusing on clean, good, fair, equitable, and SUSTAINABLE food available to All.
